Evan Gorelik

Evan Gorelik, current 8U Blue Lions Assistant Coach, began his playing career as an 8U player with the Nassau County Lions, where he quickly advanced through the ranks of youth hockey, competing at the travel level.

Throughout his playing career, Evan played for several respected organizations, including the Lions, PAL Islanders, Dix Hills Rebels, and Freeport Arrows.

After graduating from Plainview igh School, where he enjoyed success in the Nassau County High School Hockey League, Evan continued his career at the collegiate level, playing for the club hockey team at SUNY Cortland. His time with Cortland allowed him to continue competing, while further deepening his understanding of the game.

Today, Evan remains actively involved in the sport through officiating. He serves as both a Nassau High School Hockey League Game Official and a certified USA Hockey Official, giving back to the sport that has been such an important part of his life. Through his continued commitment to the game, Evan is helping support and develop the next generation of local ice hockey players, while upholding the integrity and tradition of the sport.
