Nassau County Hockey Welcomes Coach Brian Escobedo

Brian Escobedo

Brian Escobedo joins the Nassau County Lions for his first season behind the bench. Coach Escobedo will be assisting on the 13U AA team.

A Bayside, NY native, Brian played three seasons of junior hockey with the Apple Core before earning an NCAA Division I scholarship to Bowling Green State University. Brian was also a three-time New York State High School Champion at St. Mary’s. A steady presence on the blue line, he played four seasons with the Falcons before embarking on a five-year professional career in the ECHL. Following his playing days, Brian transitioned into a career in finance and later returned to the rink as head coach for the NY Apple Core junior program.
