The Doctor Pays a Visit to Cantiague

While the Nassau County Lions program takes a brief summer hiatus, work is being done behind the scenes to clean up the rink ready for the upcoming 2026-2027 season.

Part of that work is being done by the Hockey Board Doctor. Making the trip from Oakley, Michigan, the Hockey Board Doctor machine uses a soft brush system with Hockey Tough Puck & Tape Mark Remover to clean the puck scuffs and marks off the dasher boards. A sealant is also applied to the boards which preserves the boards for a longer lifespan.
